How to connect to VPN on Ultra 4
Hi All.
I have a Ultra 4 and my question is
how can I let the nas to connect to the internet throw a VPN?
Is there any Add-Ons for this.
I am very new to this stuff.

NAS: RNDU4000 latest version (connected 2 LAN cables to the router.)
Router: DGND4000

NAS -> VPN -> Internet so all internet connections goes throw a VPN
is this possible? I would think this should be possible because a NAS is one type of computer but with out a screen. - Just to clarify - you want outbound requests from the NAS to go to a VPN (for instance looking for firmware updates and getting the time, or perhaps downloading torrents...).
Or are you looking for the usual scenario of using a VPN to reach the NAS when you are not on your local network? The usual way to do this would be to deploy a VPN router. You can purchase routers intended for small business that have this built in, there are also some add-ons for open source routers. There have been a couple of posts here on installing a VPN server in the NAS itself, though i haven't seen a guide. - I am subscribing to VPN here is sweden dold.se anslut.dold.se
