How to enable a trash folder on ReadyNAS Duo 2

There is a cron script run daily: /etc/cron.daily/clean_recycle_bins
If the disks are spundown it waits until the disks spin up again and then runs within about 530 seconds. If files are too old by the setting you made in Frontview they are removed. If the recycle bin exceeds the limit older files are removed to get it back under the limit, I think.
If it's taking days/weeks for it to be cleaned I think something's wrong.
