Of course you need a working ethernet connection, a UPS that is compatible with the ReadyNAS and the UPS must be able to handle the load of all the devices
I am curious, is NUT(Network UPS tools) a 3rd party application that has been installed as a service within readynas or is this something that Infrant created on its own.
In any event, the readynas is so much more advance than my terastation live which is my other RAID system.
