Doubtfully.
If you looked in the BIOS menu and did not see auto-power-on options, then it is likely built into the BIOS and therefore not changable.
Pro 6 is no longer being developed upon, so I doubt we would see any option to disable/enable this.
I also use a Pro 6 with OS 6 on it. I unplug it when I am not there, and when I'm ready to use it, I plug it in and it comes on.
Maybe you can consider using a power strip to just flip when you shut down your main power.
