Local Firmware Failed ?
Hi All -
I recently downloaded "RAIDiator-arm 5.3.5" onto my PC and through the frontview panel / system / upgrade attempted to upgrade the firmware (It's likely been years since I did it last). I tried re-downloading (thinking it might have been corrupt) with no luck. The "scan & upload process" took most of 10 minutes before failure notification.
Using the "remote update" doesn't work at all. Any suggestions?
Thanks -
George

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserIf you did it "years ago" then you are trying to install v2 firmware on a v1 product. Please confirm your platform here: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/
If you have a v1, then you need 4.1.x firmware. 5.x.x won't work.
Note: I deleted your duplicate posts. - georgejzeck7244AspirantUpdated it. My model is RND2110v2 but faceplate and frontview home page say "ReadyNAS Duo" (no v2) -- so I did 4.1.10 and it updated.
Thanks !
George - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAs you probably sorted by now, you have a v1.
