losing connection
Recently upgraded OS to 6.4.2.
Now I'm having problem with connecting to the NAS.
If I do a power reset I will be able to connect to a share (SMB) but pretty soom it will be lost.
Same goes with the admin page, its possible to connect after a power reset but after a while the connection is lost.
AntiVirus is not enabled.
Now I would like to move all data from the NAS, but as stated above, it's not possible to copy anything from the NAS.
I will only be able to browse around for a while after a power reset.
I have also checked the logs and it doesnt show any errors.
The disk is filled up to 90% and I'm connecting to the shares from different computers with Win 7 and Win 10
What todo?

Hello Gear,
When you lose connection to the NAS, does the NAS still show on RAIDar? It is possible that it is losing the network connection.
Try backing up the file to a USB disk that is plugged in to the NAS directly, in that way, the backup job would not need to go through the network.

If it's not related to network, in some other situations, booting in Read-Only mode helps preventing the NAS crashing, enough for you to do a full backup.
It is obviously not a solution to the problem. But it could help you do the backup.

Thanks for the tips.
I manage to enable ftp access and that seems to work better than SMB so its been downloading all night, and still working this morning.
Attaching the USB directly would probably be a faster option, but since it's working I will let it go through... lots of data.
