Loss of Shares
{I think this is the model - RN21400 with 4 drive slots)
I upgraded to the latest firmware this afternoon and after the reboot, all I have for shares is Home and my email address as a folder name. None of the other shares I have previously created are shown. I have no other user id's I know of. The data appears to be all there as the amount os space available hasn't reduced. Any one any ideas about how I get back my shares?
Thanks

I just fixed mine. Here are the steps I took.
1. Logged in to the ReadyNAS web interface
2. Went to the Shares tab
3. Went to the Settings of the first listed shared folder
4. Went to the Network Access tab
5. Changed On to Off
6. Clicked Apply
7. Clicked OK
8. Went back in to the setting of the same shared folder
9. Went back to the Network Access tab
10. Changed Off back to On
11. Clicked Apply
12. Clicked OK
After that I was able to see the shares when I went to \\readynas in windows explorer. I was also able to map to the various shares.

I have followed the instructions twice and both times, the conclusion you have reached has not been achieved and I have the same situation as before.
Things I saw when I tried to replicate the instructions:
1 The tab I have is called Access (there is an on/off toggle on that page which I tried and resulted in no success
2 When I toggled the Access back to 'On' there was a drop of connection and when trying to log back to the page there was an error however with persistance I did sign back on and found what was there before
3 For reference the services set to on in the Access tab are currenly SMB and AFP
Not sure if I'm doing something awry, but welcome feedback

I just upgraded the firmware to 6.7.2 and that didn't fix anything either.

I have a ReadyNAS 516 with a connected EDA500 expanision chasis. I also just updated to the latest firmware and now I can no longer see our shares. I tried connecting to the device from different computers, with different operating systems, and different usernames. The only thing we can see when we go to \\readynas is the USB key.
What I have done so far:
1. Rebooted
2. Shut Down and powered back on
3. Checked network and file access permissions
4. Made sure the device was still able to connect with Active Directory to get user account info.
