Mac OS users/ login servers not logging in completely

My old Macbook Pro would startup & connect with my RN214 perfectly before.

I only had my " Pictures " folder in the " Login " server

and then I could easily click on any Finder Favorite ReadyNAS folder and it would open perfectly easy.

Also my Timemachine backup worked perfect.

.

My New Macbook Pro starts ok, but 90% of the time when I click another

Finder Favorite folder it wont open until I go through the Network server path.

( I did put all my folders servers in the " Login ")

Also.. timemachine only connects 1/2 the time.

.

Are there any OS instructions for the new OS 10.12 Sierra ??

anyone have any tips ?

  • Volumes can't be renamed.  You'd have to enable flexraid (if it's not already enabled), destroy the volume, create a new one, and then restore the contents.

If its the only volume, uninstall all apps before doing this.

    Hi joe_wht,

How are you connecting to the NAS? Is it via AFP?

        Hi joe_wht,

Would you be able to edit the protocols? Maybe set it to AFP or access it via AFP? Then test if you will get the same issue.

        Regards,
