Management Service Is Offline
Hello everyone,
I have a readynas2120 v2with firmware 6.2.4
For what seems a lack of power the nas has performed a forced shutdown yesterday.
If i use raidar i can see Management Service Is Offline and if i try
If i try to make it shudown gracefully (pushing the power button till the led blinks) i don't see it blinkning.
This is happening for 36 hours.
Has someone else encountered that kind of problem?
Thank You.

it's quite a tricky problem since none of them works.
The nas is holding some iscsi for an exchange server.
A netgear technician told to one of my collegue to put it in assistance mode.
I would like to know if since the nas is in assistance mode i can ssh or telnet to it and give some command that stop and restart the normal interface.

Hello Hoygen83,
I believe you are referring to the diagnostic mode or Telnet that are both designed for L3 support. If you want to do SSH, you will have to enable SSH on the admin page. However, I strongly suggest to continue with the support people you have contact with since they have already advised doing the assistance mode.

I have a similar problem. I am running 6.4.0 on an RN2120. The managment service turns off and stays off for 24 to 36 hours. When it comes back on it only seems to work for a short period of time. I tried to upgrade to 6.4.1 but it doesn't seem to reboot after the download.

Hello JSiau,
Welcome to the community!
Please also check if the access to the shares is stable or intermittent too.
I checked your profile and found just a ReadyNAS 2100 registered. Can you please check again which model you are using and having trouble with? Some users of ReadyNAS 2100 also load OS6 to their OS4 NAS.

I have a 2100, a 2120, and a 2120 R2. It is the older (non-R2) 2120 that is having problems.
