Naming convention for Folders and Files
Is it best to always use lowercase for naming folders and files on the ReadyNas.
Also is it best to avoid spaces and maybe use the underscore (_) or full stop (.) instead.
instead of my folder file name being
/c/media/Movies and Films/Science Fiction/War of the Worlds.avi
should I use
/c/media/movies_and_films/science_fiction/war_of_the_worlds.avi
I've starting using Plex and it does seem to be very fussy about the naming convention.

- I named my files like this
diy - s01e02 - Trend Joining Kitchen Worktops - Part 1.mp4
and did what you suggested regarding the scanner in Plex, but still it would not show the descriptive name when it listed the files in plex - sphardy1ApprenticeMake sure you force a full refresh of the section (Option-Click the refresh button)
I haven't used this option much - you might be better off posting to the Plex forum to get more help, plus the wiki there contains more details
