Hi. i have recently purchaced a second hand nv+ rnd4000. I have no idea if this is going to be better than my Etrayz nas.
Any how I have two initial queries please.
1. The device does not come with the hard drive caddy tray things. Does any one know where i can get some from. Google is doesn't seem to know what i'm talking about :P
2. Coming from another Nas, the Etrayz like I mentioned. I am wondering if I can somehow keep all my files on my 2TB hard drive and just plug it into the NV+?
I am guessing this is not going to be an option but it's best asked. I have a spare 1TB which failed its SMART check and was wondering if maybe I can use this to initially set the NV+ up then somehow just plug the 2TB in and it will work? Maybe as Raid 0
I am hoping to use Xsata later on but am not fussed for a while as cash is low so no new hard drives will be forth comming for while.
Thanks.

- beljim7419AspirantIt was a dud in the end :(
I wonder what i could use the case for. lol - PapaBear1ApprenticeIt is unfortunate, but second hand units are a risk. Sometimes they are lemons and sometimes they are roses.
They trays have value. In fact there was another member who bought a second hand NV+ and it came without the trays and screws.
