Are your ReadyNAS using static IP addresses, or are they using DHCP?

static IP

You might consider switching to DHCP and reserving an address in your router. Generally that works out better than manually configuring addresses.
Did you configure a DNS entry in global settings? That is easily forgotten. 8.8.8.8 is a good one to use (Google's public server).
Also. your subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0 and your gateway IP should be the LAN address of your router. So you might want to confirm those values are correct.
When you say you can't reach the internet from the NAS - what service are you trying to use? NTP, or configure email alerts, or something else?

I have to work with my provider as I don't have admin access to do this

I don't understand this. What does this do?

This is correct.

In the admin panel when I select to option for additional Addons I get a message, "The available add-ons cannot be displayed as there is no internet connectivity."

It doesn't require you to engage with your ISP. It does require that you can log into your home router or gateway.
- If you are able to set up port forwarding in your router, you have the needed access.
- If you aren't able to set up port forwarding, you probably don't need a static IP address in the first place. You should just use DHCP in the NAS, because you don't actually know what static IP addresses are safe for you to use. You can really mess things up if you have two devices trying to use the same address.

The internet (and your home network) use numeric IP addresses for routing. 8.8.8.8 is one example of an IPv4 numeric address.
But generally web pages and internet services use names, and not the raw internet addresses. For instance, we use www.netgear.com. The first step in connecting to those pages or services is to find the numeric IP address that those services use. DNS is the internet service that does that. Your computer gives the DNS server the name (www.netgear.com), and it gives you back the IP address (13.32.168.29). If you haven't added a DNS server to your static IP configuration, then you've crippled the internet access in your NAS. (FWIW, it is a common mistake).
You don't have to use 8.8.8.8. You can also try adding your router's LAN IP address (the same as your gateway address). Most routers will provide DNS services (they simply forward those requests on to your ISP's DNS servers). But some ISP servers don't reliably find the Netgear DNS names (I have no idea why btw). So we often suggest using Google's DNS server. You can add both 8.8.8.8 and your router's IP address.
