Not Accepting Connections #23538265
I have a Readynas Ultra 6 which up until now has worked perfectly. However now it is no longer available. When running the windows diagnostics, it indicates that device is not accepting connections on the file and print sharing ports. You can connect for a minute or so after you have rebooted a computer or the NAS however then the NAS is not available to any machine or device on the network. An upgrade to the latest firmware has not helped either. You can access the config webpage but only for a short period of time and then you just get the page cannot be displayed message.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI suspect you could have a fairly full 4 GB OS partition or other similar issue.
Could you open a support case and post your case number? - ianw53AspirantCase number is 23538265
- ianw53AspirantAnother issue that has arisen since the update of firmware is the my sony home theatre system is no longer able to receive streams from the Readynas, was working with out any problems before the upgrade. Any thoughts.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIs everything working fine now apart from the streaming?
You could try updating ReadyDLNA to a newer version: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946 - ianw53AspirantWill give the upgrade a go, it appears to be working okay now - something is just not quite right. Many thanks for your input.
I take it all back, something very flaky is going on, it randomly connects and drops either connecting to shares or frontview. Will keep playing and see what happens. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIt would be worth checking your disks. As the support agent pointed out one of them has reallocated sectors.
There is a disk test boot menu option, but if you can power down, remove your disks (label order) and check them that would be better. - ianw53AspirantThe issue does appear to something with the DLNA server. If you try to access it using DLNA then the whole system just seems to disappear. You need to wait a few minutes before accessing shares, frontview etc. The Sony home theatre system sees the server but receives nothing from it. Have tried up dating to 1.1.2.3 however it fails each time and you then have to wait before you can get back into do anything.
- ianw53AspirantI have performed an OS install via the boot menu yesterday, that appears to have solved the dropped connections problem. Have not turned DLNA back on yet. A new drive is going in on Monday. Hopefully the OS install has sorted it out.
