NV+ factory reset
I have made a giant mistake. Here's what happened: I forgot my password to enter the frontview of my NAS, so i tried password reset. Appears i never set the thing, so next option was a factory reset...
If you let the factory reset complete I think the odds are really low. How much money are you prepared to spend? The more stuff you try (unsuccessfully), the more difficult the task becomes for a recovery service. So if you have any thoughts of using a service like that, you should contact them now - at least get a price.

I haven't tried it either. However, if you can't afford a professional service it might worth a shot. You'd need to have at least two of the disks accessed by your PC. Perhaps you can contact them (or post on their forum).
