NV+ Power Supply goes up in flames, now what?
The power supply incl. the motherboard are gone, looks like the disks (2) are not damaged. What's the best and cost-efficient way to retrieve the data? No warranty left. Cheers.

Wow, it actually caught fire and burned the MB?
If it got the MB, the disks may be damaged, as the MB is on top. The board in back right above the PSU is the back plane. Before you do anything else, I would download the vendor tools for your drives. Then run the tests to determine that the drives are still ok.
The next step depends on whether you want to stay with a sparc based unit or not. The easiest way is if you do, then you have a choice of Duo or NV+. Keep in mind that the Duo does not have the LCD display on the front as you are accustomed to. If you wish to upgrade to a faster Ultra/Pro series, then data recovery is more difficult.
