NV+ v2 and WD TV Live
ok, i have a NV+ v2 with the lastest firmware and it has 2 WD green 2TB drives setup in a JBOD way.
i have some shares setup, a few from the first drive (c:) and a few from the second drive (d:)
both shares are setup EXACTLY the same, with DLNA and SHARES enabled.
on the WD TV LIVE, there are two ways to access the readyNAS.
one is with NETWORK SHARES (which works great for both c: and d: drives)
the other is with MEDIA SERVERS.
when i go into media servers, i can ONLY SEE the d: drive for some reason and i'm wondering if anyone can think of a reason why i can only see one drive?
both shares are set up the exact same so i would think they would both show up.
any ideas?
i've tried restarting both the readyNAS and the WD TV Live but still no luck :(

- Fr_ctur3AspirantI had a similar problem with my NV+ and WD Tv Live, in the end I now just use network shares instead of media servers. When I go through media Servers I can't see my folders just a big list of all my movie's which is a pain to scroll through. I would say its the way the WD reads the NAS in media mode. Sorry i couldn't help
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserJust to clarify "MEDIA SERVERS" in WDTV-speak is "DLNA". So if you want to pursue that issue, you should probably follow up with the details of your DLNA configuration. I think there is also a DLNA update for the v2 posted here, you might search for that.
I've found that accessing the shares directly works better with most media players (when they support that mode), unless you need the DLNA server to transcode. So sticking with NETWORK SHARES might be best anyway.
