Old Readynas Duo does not power up after re-inserting original drive
I have an old ReadyNAS Duo RND2150 with a single Seagate 500G HDD (S/N: 1VB385RV000BA) probably with the latest firmware and RaidDar. I have been using 2x WD Black 2TB in x-RAID for about 6 month...

I may not be buying the 102 just yet. I am bidding for a second hand RND2150 (same model) on ebay. That may make the migration of the 2x WD 2TB X-Raid drives easier. Yesterday, I searched the web for any software that can backup the contents of the WD drives in the meantime. I found that R-Linus (a freeware) is the only one that can reproduce the same directory tree and file names in the drive. So I will do a backup asap.I tried to ring up Netgear Australia yesterday but I was always put to a voice mail. Can I actually order the circuit board from Australia or the US?

We don't sell replacement motherboards.
Also support is for the original purchaser from an authorised reseller. There will be no NETGEAR support for a unit you purchased off eBay.
You do need to make sure that the Duo you are bidding for is also a v1. See http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
The v2 is a very different product and you can't move your disks to that.- StephenBApr 27, 2016Guru - Experienced User
Linux Reader is also free, and can read the contents of the duo's data disk. http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/
