Hi Bornslippy
Did you had the same issue on your previous UPS? If not have you tried updating your firmware to the latest? OS 6.9.3
It should have been resolved on OS 6.8.1 but it would be better if you can update your firmware.
You may also want to test a different UPS if possible but hopefully refreshing the firmware can resolve it.

Hi Marc
I haven't tried 6.9.3 as I am set to the "stable" updates track. Is that n-1?
I've checked the email alert log and these issues also occurred with the previous example of the device as far back as August. I replaced the UPS in January. I assume that the errors came in with the 6.8.0 firmware update and were NOT fixed by subsequent updates. Sorry - don't know which updates I applied when as I cleared the logs, but I assume it was all "stable" updates - I have email log messages which show the system has rebooted every month since then, some of which were presumably because of firmware updates.
Can you confirm that there was a regression which is fixed in 6.9.3 ? I'm reluctant to just install it on the offchance that it might finally fix the problem...

The issue should have been fixed from the previous stable firmwares. 6.9.3 is already on the update servers and should be detected by your NAS. It is better to update to the latest and see if you will still have the issue. Have you tried using a different Brand or model of UPS?

FWIW, I had similar issues with a different Cyberpower UPS model some time ago, but I am not seeing them with the current firmware.

Marc
Presumably it would only be detected by the NAS if it was marked as a "stable" update ?

It was just released. Netgear's practice is to make releases available for manual installations first. There can be a 1-2 week lag before they appear on the update server.
I'm running 6.9.3, and haven't seen any issues with it.
