Pro Pioneer Shuts Down, won't stay down.
I have a ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer, purchased some time ago, probably 5 years?
Anyways, aside from disk failures, it's been trouble free. Until recently - I try to power down the unit, but after a few moments, it turns itself back on. Don't have Wake-On-LAN enabled.
My procedure to shut it down - go to Frontview, System, Shutdown, "Shutdown and Turn Off Device," then click Apply. It spins down the disks, then the device goes silent.
Tried to reset to defaults, update RAIDiator, still the same. Here's some system log snippets:
Diagnostics:
Disks
-------------------------------
* Disk 1 (model Seagate ST1000NM0011, serial number Z1N4B6AF) has 1 reallocated sectors. Reallocated sectors might be acceptable, but they are often the first warning sign that a disk is starting to fail.

When I flip the power switch to the ON position, it doesn't spin up right away. Wait a few minutes, it turns on when it feels like.
This excessive power usage is bugging me, no point running it when nobody is home, so I had set up so that it would power off during the hours when nobody is around.
Thanks

I am having the same problem with my NAS Pioneer Pro failing to stay shutdown via either the web page or front panel.
I will go ahead and replace the power supply and cross my fingers that will do the trick.
Thanks for posting your problem & solution.
