Problem with LACP after update 6.6.0 -> no connection possible
Hello fellow Netgear users,
first of all I need to say I am very angry about Netgear. After the new cyber firmaware-update 6.6.0 several things won't work any more. Do they test their software or what? But now I want to talk about one Problem, the LACP connectivity. Before the update all went good incl. LACP with Power-Timer-Mode and Wake-on-Lan on 6.5.2. (This was not the case before the 6.5.2 update) I've changed nothing, I only updated the NAS and now it`s not working. When I disconnect one cable all went fine but that`s not what I want.
Can someone help me please or is there someone with the same issue?

My switch is a TP-SG3210. The hash setting is on "SRC IP + DEST IP" (the other option is "SRC MAC + DEST MAC"). This is the the detail info from the switch:
Detail Info:
Group Number: LAG1
LAG Type: LACP
Port Status: Enable
Rate: Auto
Port mirror: Disable
Ingress Bandwidth (bps): --
Egress Bandwidth (bps): --
Broadcast Control (bps): --
Multicast Control (bps): --
UL Control (bps): --
QoS Priority: CoS 0
Join VLAN: 1
Now I've seen that there is a VLAN. Right away I`ve created a VLAN 1 on the NAS. (On first try it got no internet connection. I had to enter my DNS Server in the VLAN connection.) Now it seems to work, but I`ll have a look on it for a few days so to see if it works properly.
I'll will report to you guys if it works or not.

I can't reproduce the issue on RN214 which connect to Netgear switch GS728TPS using LACP Layer 2+3 or Layer 3+4
Could do you provide detail information? I want to reproduce the issue.
Could do you tell me which Hash Type you are using on LACP mode? and what is your Power timer setting?
What switch are you using?
Also, do you have jumbo frames enabled? Some switches configure the MTU of the bond separately from the MTU of the interfaces (most Netgear switches seem to do that).

No, I haven`t enabled Jumbo Frames. My MTU setting is allways 1500.

I suspect the switch is leaving the VLAN tag in the ethernet packet. There should be a way to tell the switch to disable the tagging (so the switch will add VLAN tags on the incoming packets, and remove it on outgoing packets).
Or just leave it, since it now is working.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you my hash config from my NAS. I use Layer 2+3.
And my power time setting is:
Mo. 16:00 - 0:00 (on)Tue. 16:00 - 0:00 (on)
Wed. 16:00 - 0:00 (on)
Thu. 16:00 - 0:00 (on)
Fr. 13:00 - 02:00 (on)
Su. 10:00 - 02:00 (on)
So. 10:00 - 0:00 (on)
