Moved drives from Pro 6 to Ultra 6 in same order, volume now missing
I thought if you had the same firmware installed on an intel unit you could move from a pro 6 to an ultra 6 as long as you kept the disks in the same order. I did just that and upon boot up it says r...

Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
While migrating disks should work fine. If the unit you are migrating from is working it is advisable to update your backup first.

I'll send you the logs.
I tried putting the drives back into the original pro 6 and it did the same thing (said remove inactive drives, showed all 3 as red and then was re-syncing.)
Not sure what the problem is.

If you look in smart_history.log you will see that one of the disks is failing.
This is likely the cause of the problem.
Migrating disks from one chassis to another working smoothly relies on the disks being fine and the OS, array, volume(s) etc. on the disks being fine too. If there is a problem with any of these it will remain when moving across to another chassis.

One of the drives has shown an ATA error count for months. The pending and reallocated sectors weren't there previously but on the legacy OS6 units it was showing issues then they would disappear. After doing a resync and copying about 6TB's of data to the volume it seemed fine.
As you can see from the log none of those errors were current errors or happened anytime recently. It complained about the drive back on December 2nd but I removed the drive and re-inserted it, the volume re-synced without issue and had been running fine since. I've noticed on a few different units of mine the drives like to drop from the volume but it doesn't appear that's what happened at this point in time.

Well that ATA error count is huge, so I wouldn't have any confidence in that disk.
Rebooting. Hopefully it comes up fine now. You should backup your data.
