Great, thanks for the input. I managed to cancel the disk balance task that was locking up our unit and now it's working fine apparently.
I also have data backups, data loss is not a real issue, but the time that it would take to re-install and restore all the data is.
How did you managed to cancel the disk balance task that was locking up your unit?
