ready NAS 102 : impossible to update firmware & to save conf
Hello,
I've a readynas RN10200. It works perfectly, actually on firmware 6.1.5
I've no problem to acced to the NAS, I use Transmission for my torrent files (works perfectly) and I've opened ports on my netgear DG834 (80, 20, 21, 443, and another for transmission.)
PROBLEMS :
When I clic "update" to get the new firmware, a windows say "download" then, 7 second latter, the windos deasappear, and the download don't start.
I've download the new firmare, and tried to install it manually, I choose the file, it says "transfer... 0% ... 100%, then, nothing, the windows close.
I've tried with internet explorer and chrome, same issue...
SO, what can I do? (and each time I go to manage my NAS? I've the message "new firmware....install...." don't works...
Is there another port that I should open into my router?
Too, it"s impossible to make a save of my configuration. It take a long time, (on a new windows) then abord....
Sorry for my bad english (I'm french) and thanks for your answers!!

- vandermerweMasterYes, I think the fact that the https registered nas name does not change when you change the name of the nas leads to confusing situations like this.
It should change. I reported this to netgear some time ago. - stryper777AspirantAnyway, thanks again for your advices & help. Hope this thread could help someone that will be in the same "trouble" I was :)
