ReadyNas 104 Randomly powers down #27291440

Hi.

I have a readynas 104 that is randomly shutting down - it can be after 1 minute or 10minutes but it will always shut down.  I have the latest firmware on it and have tried 1 new disk but it still does it (I have also tried a brandnew powersupply).  I have rang tech support as its still in waranty but because it wouldnt shut down whilst in tech support mode he declared that it wasnt hardware failure and refused to help any further without me paying £89.01p!

I have reset it I believe using the boot menu and it still does it.  Does anyone have any suggestions please.

Thanks

Chris

    Which firmware are you running?

Can you try enabling a power schedule then disable that again?

      Hi.

The firmware is 6.5.1 and I have enabled / disabled the power schedule tna.

Looking in the logs shows nothing, it doesnt show it shutting down at all and when I observe the unit it is litterly as if somebody has removed the power cable from the back of it.

      Thanks

      Chris

Well can you send the logs zip in anyway (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
