ReadyNAS 104 shuts down with no reason
Hello, I have a ReadyNas 104 (firmware 6.4.0) with two disks inside (WD40EFRX and WD20EARS), in "JBOD". Two days ago i found it turned off. I checked the logs (web) but I didn't find any entr...

You could request an RMA. The problem doesn't seem software related, since it survives a factory reset. And the disks are passing the diags, which leaves the chassis and power brick.

I've tested both disks using "WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows". I've used both Quick Test and Extended Test (4hours for the WD 2TB and 6hours for the 4TB, more or less) and all tests passed succesfully, with no errors.
I've attached the disks to the ReadyNAS 104, i've started to copy again the files and a few hours later, it has turned off again. The firmware is 6.4.2, factory reset, the disks are empty, with the defrag, scrub, balance and everything done... Again, no logs related.
What can I do now? Ask for a replacement? :(

Thanks, StephenB.
Finally I've requested a replacement. Yesterday tried to copy 100GB+ and it shut down 3-4 times. Hope the new unit works better :(
Regards and thank you all for the help.
edit: not sure If I've done it correctly, but your post has been the answer for my problem so I've marked it as "solution".
