ReadyNAS 104 unable to boot after power failure
Hello,
My Readynas 104 device is in a hung state. Has the blue power led always blinking ( for hours ) when i restarted it after a power failure. The disply screen says "READYNAS 6.4.0" and no button works. I can only remove the Power Cable and connect back to retry boot but again it ends up in the same state of Power LED flashing continuously.
Device is pingable but Shares / iSCSI and admin page are not accessable.
Has anyone of you faced this kind of issue or can help me resolve this without loosing data please ?
Thanks,
Hussain
I'd contact support.

The 6.4.0 update includes putting a new boot loader in the flash - and that apparently failed in your case.
Try the USB recovery (check the community links in the faq). If that fails contact support.

Thanks Stephen for the quick reply !
Before i could try anything else, my RN104 box powered-on fine after 2-3 times plugging-in and out the power supply. However the current status is "Volume Resyncing" an should continue for about 100 hours more :)
do you suggest i wait for resyncing to complete or proceed with the USB recovery as you suggested ?
Thanks in advance !

If the NAS booted, then there is no need for USB recovery. Wait for the resync.
