ReadyNas 2100 -- drive failed & replace, blank UI?
I have a ReadyNAS 2100 with 4 x 2TB drives (it shipped complete with all drives installed).
One of the drives (#2) failed last week and we were supplied with a replacement by ReadyNAS. The drive was swapped back in and when I went to the UI to see if it was recognized, etc and check the rebuild progress I got a blank UI.
I am prompted for a username and password and log in more or less normally, but when the main web UI screen is displayed it shows all the graphic elements (borders, etc) but there is no text of any kind. I thought perhaps this was temporary but it was like this hours later, the next day and at this point now 3 and a half days later. I'm not physically present at the time so I can't see if there is still rebuild activity on the physical drive interface.
The unit itself is still available via iSCSI -- the backup jobs that run to the iSCSI drive letter still run, you can browse directories, etc, but no UI.
I ultimately plan to go back on site and power cycle the device if it doesn't display any obvious rebuild activity, but I'm not sure what else to do.

Yes, it shows in 4.3.8 with the drive #2 icon showing a red plus in the middle. I'm guessing this might indicate a rebuild status. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat indicates a spare drive not a rebuild.
- mobocracyAspirantAs it turns out the replacement disk (a "Certified Repaired Seagate") is/was dead. New replacement today.
I ended up power cycling the system to get any UI working.
