ReadyNAS 214 keeps going offline.

Hi all,

 

Have had my ReadyNAS214 running for about 9 months. Over the past couple of months the RN214 keeps going offline. I can't recover and have to remove the AC power cable and re-boot it back up. 

 

I use it for PLEX, iTunes, and F&P function. Have 8tb of disk spac in RAID5 with just over 1.45Tb used. Currently using 6.9.4 firmware.

 

RN214 is kept cool in a well ventilated space - Cant see anything amiss ion the logs (but I might have missed something, so not 100% sure of this). 

 

Does anyone have any thoughts? Or have seen similar and been able to fully resolve?

    thanks for the reply. To clarify; F&P is short for File and Print.

     

    Have just updated to the latest firmware and will monitor for a couple of days.

    What do you mean by "F&P function"?  I'm not familiar with that term.

    There are some issues with SMB file transfers in 6.9.4. I ran into some hangs in my own NAS with 6.9.4, and downgraded to 6.9.3. 

     

    But those issues should be resolved in 6.9.5.  So I'd first upgrade to 6.9.5 and see if that resolves your issues.
