ReadyNAS 31200 - new drives, factory reset, Welcome Wizard keeps looping
Hi all,
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction; we've got a ReadyNAS 31200 here that's been working well for the past couple of years - recently we had a drive failure and decided to replace both drives with new Western Digital Reds @ 2TB. Since we were not concerned with any of the data we also decided to perform a factory reset to ensure that we were starting again with a clean system; the new drives were inserted first and then the factory reset was performed.
The ReadyNAS has factory reset without issue and we can log on to it where it then presents us with the "Setup Wizard"; we proceed through the wizard filling out all required entires and apply our changes, the ReadyNAS appears to be applying these and we see a message "Connecting to ReadyNAS Admin Page..." which then dumps us back at the beginning of the wizard. We try cancelling, rebooting the NAS, etc and each time we're dumped back at the wizard.
Does anyone know what we've done wrong and how we can resolve this so that we can access the Admin Page and begin using the NAS?
Thanks,
Geoff
Your system is now running 6.6.0.
Do you still have the issue on that?
Note that it would be advisable to clear your web browser cache, close your web browser then reopen the web admin page in case there are some browser caching issues.

Which firmware are you running?
Have you tried going through the setup wizard again, but this time not changing the web admin password?- Geoff_PAspirant
Hi mdgm,
Thanks for your help; we're running v6.2.4.
Yes, I've tried all sorts of answers in the setup wizard including entering the password as the existing default password however nothing seems to make a difference and I always end up back at the beginning of the setup wizard; the wizard will not allow me to leave the password field blank.
Thanks,
Geoff

6.2.4 is very old firmware now. It could be helpful to see if you still run into this issue with newer firmware.
