ReadyNAS 314 intermittently loses DNS
I have a ReadyNas 314 that has DNS issues. If I change the DNS settings in any way it will be fine for a while. For example if I change the DNS server from 8.8.8.8 to 8.8.4.4 it will work for a while...

It is an RN314. Not sure how R8500 got in the subject line. Just using one NIC with a static IP.

I have changed and corrected the title now and replaced R8500 with ReadyNAS 314.
Are you still using 6.5.0? Have you tried updating the firmware? ReadyCloud will be available only for 6.5.1 and later versions. If you are using ReadyCloud, you also need to migrate the account, please see ReadyCLOUD to MyNETGEAR Single Sign-On FAQ.
And as always, we strongly recommend to always have full backup of the data stored to the NAS.
