ReadyNAS Duo can't access data from windows 7
I have connected my duo with an ethernet cable to my Windows 7 machine.
- I have changed the address in the duo to 168.192.1.66 and mask of 255.255.255.0.
- RaidAr can see the device (displays address of 192.168.1.66.
- I can access Frontview from RaidAR screen.
- I can successfully ping 192.168.1.66.
My problem is that I can't access the data stored on the duo. If I put https://192.168.1.66 in
the Windows Explorer, I am taken to the Frontview admin screen.
What am I doing wrong? I really need to get to the data stored on the duo.
Thanks,
Warren Mundy

You enter \\192.168.1.66 into windows explorer. Note the direction of the slashes.

I installed RaidAR 4.3.8 and it can see the Duo with no problems. When I use the browse button, nothing happens for about a minute and the error message "Windows can not find \\192.168.1.66. the error code returned is 0x80070035.
Does the Duo have to be in the same Homegroup as the PC?
Thanks
