ReadyNAS DUO drops off network

I would say your first and foremost problem is you are using Cisco equipment. Cicso is notorious for making overpriced, low quality products. I will never buy a Cisco product if I have a choice about it. Their support is lousy and overpriced as well. But they know most people will pay it because they paid so much for the equipment, they will hesitate to throw it away.
Secondly, check your Cisco router. Some WiFi routers have a setting to seperate the WiFi Connections from the WIred connections. I believe this feature is designed to prevent an open WiFi network access point from accessing wired network points. Not all routers have this feature, but I believe Cisco/Linksys routers do.
Now when you say the Duos drop off the network is it only for the wireless users or for all users on the network(including wired terminals)?
