ReadyNAS Duo V2 is working fine but Raidar cannot see it
Hi All
Raidar was working, but now refuses to connect after a hung install of Guest Access (via Genie Apps).
It now refuses to connect. To fix this i have:
-carried out a factory reset on the readynas (it won't connect and show me Genie Apps via the admin console still)
-uninstalled/reinstalled Raidar.
Both the readynas and Raidar are on the latest version.
Does the Raidar application store anything locally that will be blocking this?
All assistance with this much appreciated.

RAIDar does not cache your NAS information. Factory defaulting would have resolved this issue, so it doesn't appear to be the NAS having the problem.
Most of the time, it is your computer firewall that has a problem. What OS are you using? If using Windows Vista to Windows 8, check to see your Network and Sharing Center and make sure you're not set to a public network location. - Thank you! :)
Thanks for your pointer. Turned out that Windows 7 was connected to the internet (over wifi) but the OS seemed to think there wasn 't a connection (noticed I couldn't use any of my VPN connections due to 'lack of internet') needed a reboot, and also a disable/enable of my wireless card.
