FileZilla doesn't need the masquerade with my Pro - check your setting for passive mode in FileZilla (edit->settings Connection\ftp\passive mode) which should be "Use the server's external IP address instead".
Just to be clear, by FTPeS do you mean FileZilla's "require explicit FTP over TLS" encryption mode of FTP? If so, it does not require any additional ports to be forwarded (compared with normal FTP). SFTP does not work with my Pro.
