I'm assuming you bought a supply specifically for a ReadyNAS. The NAS supply has a part number from the manufacturer, but the connector is wired differently than the standard one.
It sounds like your power supply died and took a hostage with it. It's been too long since I used an NV+ to remember if anything normally comes up on the display if the volume is corrupt, but I want to say it does. Can you see the NAS in RAIDar? I know it comes up there even with no drives (which is another thing to try).
Yes, you are going to have to mount at least 3 drives simultaneously (all 4 if you weren't using RAID) on the recovery system if you want to recover all of the data.

I was unable to find an OEM one and purchased one like this one:
It may not be correct then, per the other post as well. Perhaps before I do anything else I'll try to adapt a regular PSU to the NAS.
RAIDAR doesn't see it.
How would one go about mounting all 4 drives at once? This is the very murky place for me.
