I have now TOTALLY RESET my NV+ (factory default, or whatever they call it) with the latest firmware. I thence turned OFF all services and sharing other than rsync and the required https. NV+ reports 1000mbps.
Status: Online / 1000 Mbit / Full-Duplex
iMac shows 1000mbps. The best transfer rates I am seeing (using ::mountpoint instead of :/ to avoid ssh overhead) are sub-5mBps. 4.46mBps to be precise. This doesn't seem right, and I'd really like a solution now. Please?
Oh, and YES, I tried jumbo frames, and got the same or LOWER throughput. Both using 9000 and setting iMac to match NV+ decision of 7636, or whatever size it chose.
