ReadyNAS NV+ v1: Every username/password accepted while connecting via SMB
Hi everyone!
If I press "cmd" and "k" on my Mac with OS X 10.10.4 to connect to my ReadyNAS NV+ v1 via SMB it accepts ANY username/password-combination!
I set the admin-password via the web-frontend ("Frontview") and to log in to Frontview the new password is required ... for the smb-connection not, as said!
Ideas?
Thx,
Marcus

Do you have guest access enabled for the shares?

Oh ... where can I see that?

In Frontview go to Shares > Share Listing > Share name, select the CIFS protocol for the share and see if the "Allow guest access" checkbox is checked.
