ReadyNAS nv+ vs nv+ v2 vs 104
I'd appreciate anyone who can answer any of these questions. Please reply even if you know the answer to only one of the questions. I'm contemplating exchanging by new nv+ v2 (got it for $250) for ...

Nv+ v1 only takes 2TB drives therefore you would "waste" the extra Tb on each
The files systems from V1 to V2 are incompatible therefore cannot simply swap across drives you would have to read data across
What you are actually looking at is an Ultra four this also has a different file format again so once again you can not simply swap drives. This also only accepts I believe 2TB disks so drive space will be lost
All I get is 20-28 Mb/s but I am moving data every now and then
for the NV+ V2 i do not think that t 4TB disks are on the HCL I certainly have not tried these out I understand that the synology units accept 4tb drives and the DS413J has the same processor as the NV+ V2
