ReadyNAS NV won't power on
I have a ReadyNAS NV that I bought back in April 2006 that will no longer power on. 1) I'm suspecting that the power supply has gone bad. Is there a way to check if this is the case? If I need a ...
I tried disconnecting the backup battery, but still no-go on powering up. I took the power supply out and noticed a discoloration around the vent holes. There wasn't any strong smell of something burning.
Since I have the box opened up, should I replace the button backup battery?
I'll be ordering a new power supply and let you know how it goes.
