ReadyNAS NV+ won't power up
My question is I bought it Jan of 2007 before Infrant was bought by NetGear. Do I still have a valid warranty with this unit?
By power up, I mean it is dead. As if the power cord was not plugged in. No sign of life.

I don't think they'll give you anything for the old unit, though. - flashmastaAspirantI posted in another thread this morning about this, but my NV+ died yesterday (PSU failure) and the serial # falls into the affected range in the service action. Phone support wasn't helpful at all...does anyone have a contact that can help me get the ball rolling with an RMA? I would even pay for part of the replacement, I'm just not crazy about $120 for a part that was likely to fail anyways and is much more than your average PSU price.
- kyrnelAspirantMy old Infrant ReadNAS NV+ died yesterday. I bought it in early 2008. My serial number was within the recall range and it took less than 20 minutes to get the PSU RMA'd.
I got a person on the phone within 3 minutes (mostly navigating the options) she transferred me to a tech, was on hold for about 60 seconds, he approved the RMA and sent me right back to the original person to finish up.
I have to say that Netgear has some of the best support I have ever dealt with. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredNice to hear. A ReadyNAS NV+ purchased early 2008 (which is on/after Aug 21, 2007) would still be under warranty.
