I don't think he would have had the time do have done another factory default between his last 2 posts.
OP had tried factory default during his initial troubleshooting. What he hasn't done is factory default and run the nas with no addons to see if the issue is present without them. For some reason he can't remove one of the addons he has, and is therefore going to try another factory reset.
