ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer Not Accepting DHCP IP addresses
I've got a ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer that disappeared from my network in the middle of last week. I rebooted from the device's power button and when the device boots up it indicates that it has IP address 192.168.168.168.
I've searched around on the forums and apparently that means the device isn't receiving an address via DHCP. The issue is that DHCP is up and running on my network and is assigning addresses to other devices.
I've direct connected to my ReadyNAS from my laptop and can access FrontView and all of my files just fine.
I've tried renewing the DHCP lease on the port that isn't connected to my laptop (i.e. the one still connected to the network). No luck.
I've tried assigning an IP based on the MAC address and that doesn't have any effect. No luck.
Any thoughts? Any suggestions?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan

There is limited support for such old firmware.
Please update to RAIDiator x86 4.2.15: http://www.readynas.com/RAIDiator_x86_4_2_15_Notes and see if that makes a difference.
You could update to 4.2.16 but if you were to update to that you could not subsequently downgrade the firmware to 4.2.15 or earlier (so be aware of that if you wish to try that).
It is recommended that if you do wish to update to 4.2.16 or later that you update to 4.2.16 first then onto the later firmware. - digitalnegativeAspirant

Okay, I've updated the firmware to 4.2.16 and still no luck with getting an IP.
Should I update further to .17 or .19?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

May as well.
May also want to try an OS re-install: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu
