ReadyNAS Replicate fails but device is browseable

I have ReadyNAS Replicate set up and running with 3 RND3200 units and for the past 2 days the replication from one of the devices has been failing with "Connect error code: -51" -> "Please check source device is online and Replicate service is running" I checked the device and it was up, running and working as expected and the Replicate service appeared to be running correctly, this was corroborated by the fact that on the Replicate web portal I could both see the device (Network view) and browse the device data. I restarted the P2P service and then all of a sudden the backup / replication was able to be successfully started. My concern now is whether the secure encrypted connection that is used for the replication is not being used for other data that is served to the web portal. Can you confirm that all relevant transfers between the device and the public website are appropriately encrypted or if the SSL only applies to the inter-device transfer of data.
