ReadyNAS RN10400 RND-4D - unable to reach mapped share on Win 10 Pro after firmware update to 6.6.0
Hello
I have tried remapping the share, looking for an online solution and have tried reinstalling the firmware. I am able to access the NAS via a web browser, but can'tr reach it via Windows Explorer. I also have a Mac and I am unable to connect to it via that either. My guess is that the firmware update has caused me an issue. I've looked at my share permissions and they all seem to be okay.
Appreciate any ideas.
Regards
Philip

Hello Philip_G,
Have you double checked if SMB is enabled on the admin page > System > Settings > Services as well as on all the shares?
If it's already enabled, maybe try disable then enable.

Hi Jenn
Thanks for the prompt reply and the welcome - I'd say it's great to be here, but frankly I only am because I'm stuck!Yep SMB is running (I even tried running it off and on again). I've allowed anonymous access, I also have NFS, AFP, FTP as well as HTTP active and I've given read/write access to everyone.
I've rebooted it numerous times as well as the router/modem it's attached to, this PC and the Mac as well.
I'm stumped.

Try using NAS admin credentials on the windows PC and see if that works.
