I believe it's because the drive came out well after the firmware release. So my thoughts would be that the firmware limitations cause the issue. Let's hope that they have already considered this and are working on 4.2.20 full release to support these drives. That would increase the capacity of a ReadyNAS 4200 immensely. I want to give you kudos for trying the drive even though it's not on the list; yet.
