Readynas Ultra 4 and Windows 10
Hi
Just updated my media PC to Windows 10. Previously running Windows 7 (No problems on Win 7). I tend to use my NAS as media storage, it stores all films music photos etc. On my NAS (Ultra 4) all shares set up and working, separate shares for films music and photos. I tend to use Kodi or Plex for media, both need a file source for uploading to play. After upgrading to Win 10 I was unable to find the source Win 7 no problem. Whilst on Win 7 under the network tab in my computer the NAS was visable, in Win 10 the network does not show the NAS. It does however on the "this PC" tab, show the NAS but clicking on it only takes you to the web based logon. I have been told that it may have something to do with SMB shares on Win 10, but having tried multiple solutions I still can't find a work around.
Looking forward to any help. I'm sure there is a simple solution.
Martin

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the reply it comes up with:
\\media-nas is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Hi martinbreeze,
On your PC, try to execute the command below in CMD.
net use * /delete
If the issue persists, apply these permission settings on your share/s.

Hope this helps!
Kind regards,
