ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus - OS 6.10.1?
Hi All,
Short Question:
Is OS 6.10.1 able to run on the Ultra 4 Plus?
Context:
I run two ReadyNAS devices - a RN214 and this Ultra 4 Plus (used as a backup). Both run OS 6 and I have updated them both as required when 'Check for Updates' reports newer firmware available. Up to this point, both have received the same Firmware version without any problems.
When I was prompted to update my RN214 to 6.10.1, I fired up my Ultra 4 Plus to do the same, but it reports I have the latest firmware available (currently on 6.10.0 Hotfix 2). Have I reached the end of the road for automated firmware updates on this model? Can I still keep both devices in step with manual firmware updates or is 6.10.0 Hotfix 2 the terminal release for my aged Ultra 4 Plus?

Well, OS-6 isn't officially supported on the ultra (as you likely know).
That said, you should be seeing a prompt for 6.10.1. Is the Ultra update setting set to "stable"?

Many Thanks! I had the Check Updates setting on Long-Term Support.
