ReadyNAS Ultra 6 /dev/md0 is 100%
Hi All,
First time poster, long time follower :D
My NAS rebooted and started a resync and after some investigation and trolling through the posts, I have discovered /dev/md0 is 100%
I have looked at / where its supposed to be mounted and I come up to a total of 500mb
I have excluded the link folders ( -> ) and "c"
The question is, where is the 4Gb odd being used up?
I can account for only 523 MB...
Any help would be appreciated...

- Ado1AspirantSo if I wait for the resync to finish, reboot, do some volume checks and if things are still strange, then do the os re-install, that would be a good plan?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI would suggest you make sure you have an up to date backup before doing any volume checks if you want to do one of those.
- Ado1Aspirantright.... So now would be a good time to get another NAS ;)
- Ado1AspirantAlso, by volume checks I mean the items under the volume maintenance tab, i.e. disk scrubbing and consistency checks
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAh
Still a good idea to make sure you have an up to date backup if you haven't backed up your data in a while. - Ado1AspirantI have the important stuff on a laptop ;)
But yeah, I need a new NAS for the rest of the data... - Ado1AspirantAny thoughts on the Fan readings on the health page?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat might be related to your OS partition getting full.
Would be interesting to hear if you still have the fan error after an OS Re-install. - Ado1AspirantOk, I will wait for the resync and try a os re-install tomorrow.
Thanks again for all the help.
