System->settings->perform factory default formats all disks and does a fresh factory install. It doesn't let you select specific disks.
If you are using flexraid with multiple volumes, you can destroy a specific volume from system->volume, but you'd have entered DESTROY and not FACTORY.
Can you confirm what you did here?

Yes in first time DESTROY volume and next step FACTORY reset.

News for my worries
Despite the reset (deletion and re-creation of volume) still the same problem. (Blocking the nas at the time of defragmentation).
(I have done this 3 times)So I tried to isolate a possible defective disk, I created a volume per disk.
I tested defragmenting each volume, and no crash. So I redid a single volume as originally, and there more worries.
It is to understand nothing ????

Have you looked at the SMART stats for the disks? You can do this by downloading the log zip file from the web ui, and looking in disk_info.log

All Smart stats are ok no one error.

Can you try running the disk test on the volume settings wheel (on each volume)?

All volume disk tests were performed without error.
And even now on a single volume

Good. I suggest scheduling all the maitenance functions via the volume wheel setting. I run them each once every three months myself.
Let us know if the NAS freezes again.

Hi DevilSilver,
It seems that the NAS doing file indexing or at least trying to. L3 thinks that somehow the NAS is overloading. You can try turning OFF File Search.
