readynasd errors
Hi,
My ReadyNAS is under high CPU load as it is spewing the following error into the logs
"Mar 31 21:52:03 nas readynasd[2344]: read() ==> len=-1, errno=19"
Any thoughts?
Cheers

At 75% now, mostly gcc, java8, python2.6/2.7, mono,
Ah just found and cleaned up a squeezeboxserver backup, so now at 70%. Is there a percent free I should aim for? I guess I could move Java8 and soft link it?

I would think on most systems the root volume usage should be under 50% if things are stored where they should be.

I'd engage support right away (you should have lifetime chat support if this was purchased from an authorized reseller after June 1, 2014). http://www.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx?cid=gwmng

Hello mctubster,
What is the current firmware version and model number? What are the apps running and services enabled?
Regards,
Hi,
ReadyNAS314 running 6.4.1
The filesystem and array seemed fine, it is a bit of a random type of error and I assume readynasd is the admin interface? Anyway I rebooted and the error stopped.
Regards
Steve
